The original version of “Too Close to Home” was clean and appropriate for a wider audience, so instead of having it less popular to have limited promotional copies, it could have gained more traction if it was given a wider release. Additionally, Bullens was a talented female musician who had been successful in various genres, making her an ideal artist to promote for a pop hit.
